Members Code Of Conduct
All members of the International Diaspora Union (IDU) shall adhere to the following principles:
1. Integrity and Ethics
Members shall act with honesty, integrity, and professionalism in all IDU-related activities.
2. Respect and Non-Discrimination
Members shall respect diversity and shall not engage in discrimination based on nationality, race, ethnicity, gender, religion, political belief, or any other status.
3. Peaceful Conduct
Members shall promote peaceful dialogue, non-violence, and mutual respect in all engagements.
4. Compliance with Laws and Governance
Members shall comply with applicable laws and with the IDU Constitution, By-Laws, policies, and resolutions.
5. Non-Political Conduct
Members shall not use IDU platforms, name, or resources for partisan political activities or personal political gain.
6. Confidentiality and Data Protection
Members shall respect confidentiality and comply with IDU’s data protection and privacy policies.
7. Conflict of Interest
Members shall disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest and act in the best interest of IDU at all times.
8. Disciplinary Measures
Violation of this Code may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or termination of membership, in accordance with the By-Laws.
